New Ai Series: 20W Wireless Charging Kit for iPad

Fu Da Tong Technology would like to introduce our whole new Ai series wireless charging kit, including wireless charging board module of transmitting power as well as receiving output power module of 20W output. In addition, this kit also includes connecting board for iPad charge to let the charging current be the same as the original transformer’s, and the charging time of our module and original charger will be alike.

Module appearance
The following is a brief introduction of our module’s components and test data:
Front of receiving circuit board: New circuit framework design features less components and smaller PCB size.
Back of receiving circuit board: Enhanced heat conduction design.
Side view of receiving circuit board: The highest component is inductance which is 4mm while other parts are all less than 2mm.
The coil of receiving power is arranged underneath receiving circuit board to receive power and help the heat induction of circuit board.
Transmission coil and receiving coil are the same. The magnet on receiving coil is assembled reversely to make transmission and receiving coils are attracted to each other.
Side view of the test of induction: there is a 5mm thick acrylic board between coils.
Test data
Receiving circuit board is set to be 5V output. Different current test efficiencies are shown below:
 
1A output: Input power= 7.184W;Output power= 5.018W; Efficiency= 69.85%
2A output: Input power= 12.879W;Output power= 10.029W; Efficiency= 77.87%
3A output: Input power= 18.907W; Output power= 15.037W; Efficiency= 79.53%
4A output: Input power= 25.742W; Output power= 20.035W; Efficiency= 77.83%
The acrylic board in between can be replaced by non-metal materials with heat induction effect. It is heat conductive rubber in the photo.
By the allocation of heat conductive rubber, the heat from receiving circuit board will be radiated through the transmission base to control the temperature of receiving end effectively.
iPad Charging Application
This kit includes connecting board for iPad to charge iPad. The maximum internal current of iPad is 2A.
This connecting board requires 5V-2A to charge iPad.
